My First Day

My first day in London.

My vacation officially started that day. And since nobody else is available to show us around (everyone needs to go to work today—at least everybody my mom knows) tito Bong volunteered. He doesn’t have work for that day anyway. So he we rode the big red buses all over Central London. It was really cool, actually, to ride in those buses. That’s because you don’t see buses like that here in the Philippines. We even get to ride on top of the double decker bus which gave us a marvelous view of everything we pass by. The plan was to go to the famous landmarks but since me and Kat needed jackets as we were shivering in the cold, tito Bong suggested we go shopping first. So we went to all kinds of different shops like GAP, Marks and Spencers, TKMaxx, and LillyWhite. We passed by Harrods but we didn’t go inside as everything is VERY expensive in there. After walking for a few hours, we ate at a Mcdo nearby in Oxford Street. Tito Bong ordered Big Mac meals for the four of us. I didn’t get to finish mine since my tiny tummy felt like bursting of all the calories I’d stuffed in my mouth. We went to more shops after that and then took the underground train to Westminster Mall or something like that. (I forgot the name -_-“) So we strolled around there, you know working off the calories I gained from that single solitary meal and went to Hollister, GAP but still didn’t find anything either! In the end, we all went home without buying anything at all! Some kind of shopping trip that was! At least we got to stroll around the place, though. And I guess that was pretty much good enough for me. The three of us came home totally bushed. We didn’t eat dinner. Instead we went straight to bed. It was probably about between ten and eleven in the evening at that time. I never knew shopping could be so exhausting!!!

P.S. No pictures for the first day. I wonder why… Oh well.

I heart the color of the jacket tita Ellen let me borrow. Turns out the jacket I brought with me won’t shield my skin from the harsh cold (even though I put on two jackets already) so she let us borrow some jackets from Jasmine, her daughter. She also lent us some scarves. I got to use a pink satin scarf with sequins at the seams. It was so cute!
Hongkong

Am now sitting at Hongkong airport waiting for our three o’ clock flight to London. Good thing there’s Wi-Fi connection here or else I’d be bored to death. The view of the mountains are great here by the way! ÜÜ

Tomorrow I’m gonna ride an airplane for the first time. Ever. Yay! So freakin’ excited. Still debating whether to bring my phone or not. Anyways, I sure hope we have a good flight. Airplanes scare me a little. Curse my having watched too many episodes of Air Crash Investigation on Nat Geo!!
